Contrazt
Contrazt is a Norwegian dansband from Solør, formed in 2004. The group originated when Hanne Mette Gunnarsrud and Leif Dybendal from the duo Fullt og helt decided to expand and change the name. Three new guys joined when the group Contrazt occurred. Contrazt's first album, was released in 2006. Another album, , was released the following year, followed in 2008 by . After five years on the road and three albums Gunnarsrud decided to stop to prioritize family. Gro Anita Johansen took over as lead singer. Her first album with Contrazt was . The band's fifth album, 2010's , went gold in four weeks. In 2011, the album won Contrazt the 2011 award as Folk, Golden Boot. In 2012, the group released their eighth album, . Contrazt was named Folk, Gullskoen 2012. Contrazt were selected to perform at the final of Melodi Grand Prix 2015 on 14 March, with their song "Heaven". Dansband

Jitterbug and foxtrot music are often included in this category. The music is primarily inspired by swing, schlager, country, jazz, and rock. The main influence for rock-oriented bands is the rock music of the 1950s and 1960s. The terms ' and ' were coined around 1970, when Swedish popular music developed a signature style. Norway In The Eurovision Song Contest 2015
Norway participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "A Monster Like Me" written by Kjetil Mørland. The song was performed by Mørland and Debrah Scarlett. The Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) organised the national final ''Melodi Grand Prix 2015'' in order to select the Norwegian entry for the 2015 contest in Vienna, Austria. Eleven entries competed in a show that took place on 14 March 2015 and the winner was determined over two rounds of public televoting. The top four entries in the first round of voting advanced to the competition's second round—the Gold Final. In the second round of public televoting, "A Monster Like Me" performed by Mørland and Debrah Scarlett was selected as the winner with 88,869 votes. Solør
Solør is a Norwegian traditional district consisting of the valley between Elverum in the north and Kongsvinger in the south. It is part of Innlandet county and it includes the municipalities Våler, Åsnes, and Grue. Glomma valley Glommadal (''Glåmdalen'') is a designation for the valley formed by the river Glåma (also called the Glomma), which is the longest and largest river in Norway. From Lake Aursund in the north on south to Elverum, the valley is called the Østerdalen. From that point south until Kongsvinger, it is referred to as Solør.
