Madcon is a Norwegian musical duo formed in 1992 by Yosef Wolde-Mariam and Tshawe Baqwa. They have released eight albums as of 2022. They are best known for the 2007 cover of " Beggin'" by The Four Seasons and the 2015 single " Don't Worry" featuring Ray Dalton. Members Yosef Wolde-Mariam Yosef Wolde-Mariam (born 4 August 1978) is a Ethiopian-Norwegian TV presenter and rapper. His parents originated from Ethiopia and Eritrea. Wolde-Mariam grew up in Grefsen Norway, and moved with mother between Røyken, Grønland, Grünerløkka and Bekkelaget. ''Contraband'' is the fourth studio album by the Norway, Norwegian urban music duo Madcon. It was released on 17 November 2010. It peaked at number two on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, Norwegian Albums Chart, becoming the group's highest-charting album. The album was preceded by the Element (production team), Element-produced lead single, "Glow (Madcon song), Glow" which became a top 20-hit in nine countries. Norwegian Language
Norwegian ( no, norsk, links=no ) is a North Germanic language spoken mainly in Norway, where it is an official language. Along with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a dialect continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional varieties; some Norwegian and Swedish dialects, in particular, are very close. Urban Music
Urban contemporary music, also known as urban music, hip hop, urban pop, or just simply urban, is a music radio format. The term was coined by New York radio DJ Frankie Crocker in the early to mid-1970s as a synonym for Black music. It is considered the primary Norwegian record chart, charting albums and singles from countries and continents around the world. The data are collected by Nielsen Soundscan International and are based on the sales in approximately 100 shops in Norway. Philip Boardman (born 27 March 1982), known by his stage name Admiral P, is a Norwegian reggae artist. He is best known for his commercial breakthrough single "Snakke litt" (2011), which reached No. 4 on the VG-lista singles chart.
