Constitutional Law PAC
The Constitutional Law PAC was a center-right political action committee formed in the state of Washington (U.S. state), Washington to help elect candidates to the Washington State Supreme Court and Washington State Court of Appeals. Conservatives expressed concerns that the group's leadership was too liberal, while liberals criticized the committee as a conservative attempt to influence judicial elections. Marlin Appelwick
Marlin Jon Appelwick (born July 2, 1953) was a judge of the Washington Court of Appeals, Division I, who served from 1998 until his retirement in 2022. Biography Judge Appelwick first ran for election to the Washington Court of Appeals in 1998. He ran unopposed again in 2018 and retired from the court on March 31, 2022. Before becoming a judge, Judge Appelwick practiced law for 18 years in family law, business law, and mediation. Judge Appelwick was also a member of the Washington State Legislature for 16 years. Thomas Slade Gorton III (January 8, 1928 – August 19, 2020) was an American lawyer and politician who served as a United States Senator from Washington from 1981 to 1987 and again from 1989 until 2001. A member of the Republican Party, he held both of the state's U.S. Senate seats in his career and was narrowly defeated for reelection twice, first in 1986 by Brock Adams and again in 2000 by Maria Cantwell following a recount.
