Constituency NA-116 (Narowal-II) ( ur, این اے-۱۱۶، نارووال-٢) was a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It chiefly comprised the Shakargarh Tehsil before the Tehsil's area was divided among the constituencies of NA-77 and NA-78 in the 2018 delimitation. As a result, this constituency was abolished. Narowal District ( Punjabi and ur, ), is a district in the province of Punjab of Pakistan. Narowal city is the capital of the district. During the British rule, Narowal was the town of Raya Khas tehsil of Sialkot District. Narowal District formed in 1991, when the two tehsils of Narowal and Shakargarh were split off from Sialkot District. Shakargarh ( ur, ), is a ''tehsil'' located in Narowal District, Punjab, Pakistan. Shakargarh was the only ''tehsil'' of Gurdaspur district which was included in Pakistan at the time of the independence in 1947. The literacy rate of Shakargarh is more than 97.6%, the highest in Pakistan. Pakistan Standard Time is referenced from Shakargarh. Muhammad Tariq Anis is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013. Daniyal Aziz Choudhry ( Punjabi, ur, ; born 25 February 1965) is a Pakistani politician who served as Minister for Privatisation, in Abbasi cabinet from August 2017 to May 2018.
