Conspirituality
Conspirituality is a neologism portmanteau describing the overlap of conspiracy theories with spirituality, typically of New Age varieties. Contemporary conspirituality became common in the 1990s. Characterization The term was coined for the 2011 study "The Emergence of Conspirituality" by sociologists Charlotte Ward and David Voas published in the ''Journal of Contemporary Religion''. They characterized the movement as follows: "It offers a broad politico-spiritual philosophy based on two core convictions, the first traditional to conspiracy theory, the second rooted in the New Age: 1) a secret group covertly controls, or is trying to control, the political and social order, and 2) humanity is undergoing a 'paradigm shift' in consciousness. Proponents believe that the best strategy for dealing with the threat of a totalitarian ' new world order' is to act in accordance with an awakened 'new paradigm' worldview." The group is critical of market capitalism, describing it as structurally corrupt and wasteful of resources. Bertram Dybwad Brochmann
Bertram Dybwad Brochmann (1 January 1881 – 15 January 1956) was a Norwegian businessperson, writer and politician, founder of the Society Party. He was born in Grue as a son of Jørgen Henrik Hegermann Brochmann (1850–1921) and Sophie Wilhelmine Dybwad (1858–1892). He was a nephew of Bertram Elias Dybwad, and on the paternal side a first cousin of Georg Brochmann. In 1931, Brochmann began the magazine ''Samfundsliv''. He formed the ''Samfundspartiet'' ("The Society Party") two years later. Brochmann's movement touted the fundamental evils of capitalism, State power, and organized religion. He was elected to the Parliament of Norway in 1933, serving the period 1934 to 1936. A neologism Greek νέο- ''néo''(="new") and λόγος /''lógos'' meaning "speech, utterance"] is a relatively recent or isolated term, word, or phrase that may be in the process of entering common use, but that has not been fully accepted into mainstream language. Alf Larsen
Alf Larsen (22 July 1885 – 12 December 1967) was a Norwegian poet, essayist and magazine editor. Biography Larsen was born at Tjøme in Vestfold, Norway. he was the eldest of seven children born to Alfred Larsen (1859-1905) and Kristine Iversen (1857-1936). His father was a skipper who died in the North Sea in 1905. Larsen was the benefactor of a wealthy man from Sandefjord who paid his schooling, first at Skiringssal (1902-1903), later at Grundtvigs folk school in Lyngby, Denmark. From January 1908 to 1909, he continued his studies at St. Andrew's Church, Gentofte Municipality, Sankt Andreas, a Jesuit school at Charlottenlund in Copenhagen. Ufology ( ) is the investigation of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) by people who believe that they may be of extraordinary origins (most frequently of extraterrestrial alien visitors). Indigo children, according to a pseudoscientific New Age concept, are children who are believed to possess special, unusual, and sometimes supernatural traits or abilities. The idea is based on concepts developed in the 1970s by Nancy Ann Tappe, who claimed to have been noticing indigo children beginning in the late 1960s. Her ideas were further developed by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. 9/11 conspiracy theories attribute the preparation and execution of the September 11 attacks against the United States to parties other than, or in addition to, al-Qaeda. These include the theory that high-level government officials had advance knowledge of the attacks. Government investigations and independent reviews have rejected these theories. Proponents of these theories assert that there are inconsistencies in the commonly accepted version, or that there exists evidence that was ignored, concealed, or overlooked. Love Has Won (LHW) is a new religious movement which was led by Amy Carlson (November 30, 1975 – April 2021), referred to within the group as "Mother God". The group has been described as a cult by ex-members and media outlets. The group had between 12 and 20 full-time members who lived with her at the time of her death. Origins According to her family, Amy Carlson grew up in Dallas, Texas, and was a "straight A student". In Carlson's early adult life, however, she began to talk increasingly about "outlandish concepts" such as starships.
