The Conseil des écoles françaises de la communauté urbaine de Toronto, commonly known as CÉFCUT (English: Metropolitan Toronto French School Board), is a former public secular education, secular French language, French first language school district. The school board was established in 1988 to manage secular French first language schools in Metropolitan Toronto. It operated until 1998, when CÉFCUT was formally merged with other secular French school boards in the Ontario Peninsula, creating ''Conseil scolaire Viamonde''. Public separate school, separate French schools in Toronto were not managed by CÉFCUT, but ''Les Conseil des écoles catholiques du Grand Toronto'', a board managed by the Toronto Catholic District School Board, Metropolitan Separate School Board (MSSB). Don Mills
Don Mills is a mixed-use neighbourhood in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was developed to be a self-supporting " new town" and was at the time located outside Toronto proper. In 1998, North York, including the Don Mills community, was amalgamated into Toronto proper. Consisting of residential, commercial and industrial sub-districts, it was planned and developed by private enterprise. Franco-Ontarians (french: Franco-Ontariens or if female, sometimes known as ''Ontarois'' and ''Ontaroises'') are Francophone Canadians that reside in the province of Ontario. École secondaire Étienne-Brûlé () is a French-language public high school located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, named for a famous explorer. Part of the Conseil scolaire Viamonde, the school serves the French population of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Walter de Gruyter GmbH, known as De Gruyter (), is a German scholarly publishing house specializing in academic literature.
