Conrrado Moscoso
Conrrado Moscoso (born September 26, 1995) is a Bolivian racquetball player. He is the currenInternational Racquetball Federation(IRF) Men's Singles World Champion, which he won at the 2022 Racquetball World Championships in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Moscoso is the first Bolivian and first South American man to win an IRF World Championship in singles. Moscoso is also the current two time Pan American Champion in Men's Singles as well as the Pan American Champion in Mixed Doubles (with Angélica Barrios). Moscoso has won multiple medals for Bolivia, including several gold medals, including gold in the Men's Team event at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. That was the first gold medal won by Bolivia in any sport at the Pan American Games. 2016 Racquetball World Championships – Men's Singles
The International Racquetball Federation's 18th Racquetball World Championships were held in Cali, Colombia, from July 15 to 23, 2016. This was the first time Worlds were in Colombia, and the first time a South American country hosted the event since 1998, when Cochabamba, Bolivia, was the host city. American Rocky Carson won gold for the fifth consecutive time, extending his career record, when he defeated Mexican Daniel De La Rosa, in the final, 15–11, 5–15, 11–5. But it was the first time that Carson needed a tie-breaker to win the final, and he also needed three games to advance to the final, as Bolivian Conrrado Moscoso took him to a tie-breaker in the semi-finals. Temuco
Temuco () is a city and commune, capital of the Cautín Province and of the Araucanía Region in southern Chile. The city is located south of Santiago. The city grew out from a fort of the same name established in 1881 during Chile's invasion of Araucanía. Barranquilla () is the capital district of Atlántico Department in Colombia. 2022 Pan American Racquetball Championships
The 2022 Pan American Championships were held in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, April 9-16. Bolivian Angélica Barrios won Women's Singles and fellow Bolivian Conrrado Moscoso won Men's Singles, and both Barrios and Moscoso won for the first time. Barrios's victory was the first for a Bolivian woman at Pan Am Championships, while Moscoso's win was the third consecutive Bolivian gold in Men's Singles, as Carlos Keller won the previous two events. In doubles, Canadians Coby Iwaasa and Samuel Murray won Men's Doubles, which was the 4th Canadian win in the event, but the first for both Iwaasa and Murray. Argentina won Women's Doubles for the first time, as Natalia Mendez and Maria Jose Vargas took the title. 2023 Pan American Racquetball Championships
The 2023 Pan American Championships were held in Guatemala City, Guatemala, April 1–8. Bolivian Conrrado Moscoso won Men's Singles for the second consecutive year, and Montserrat Mejia won Women's Singles for the first time. Moscoso's win was the fourth consecutive Bolivian gold in Men's Singles, as Carlos Keller won the two events prior to Moscoso. Mejia is the second Mexican woman to win Women's Singles after Paola Longoria. Mejia also won Women's Doubles with Alexandra Herrera, with fellow Mexicans Rodrigo Montoya and Eduardo Portillo winning Men's Doubles. Meija is the 3rd women to win both Women's Singles and Doubles in the same year after Longoria (4 times) and American Rhonda Rajsich (once). Racquetball (Spanish: ''Ráquetbol''), for the 2017 Bolivarian Games was held from 20 November to 25 November 2017 in Santa Marta, Colombia. Tournament format The 2017 Bolivarian Games racquetball competition has two-stages. There is an initial group stage played as a round robin with the results used to seed teams for the medal round. 2017 Bolivarian Games
The 2017 Bolivarian Games, officially the XVIII Bolivarian Games, was an international multi-sport event that was held from 11–25 November 2017, in Santa Marta, Colombia. Host city selection Ciudad Bolivar (Venezuela) and Santa Marta (Colombia) were the cities which decided to bid for hosting the Games. However, only Santa Marta submitted the official candidacy and later selected by ODEBO to host the 2017 Bolivarian Games. Mascot The mascot for these games was Ajaytuké, a sea urchin. The Bolivarian Games (Spanish: ''Juegos Bolivarianos'', full name ''Juegos Deportivos Bolivarianos'') are a regional multi-sport event held in honor of Simón Bolívar, and organized by the Bolivarian Sports Organization (''Organización Deportiva Bolivariana'', ODEBO). Racquetball At The 2018 South American Games
Racquetball (Spanish: ''Ráquetbol''), for the 2018 South American Games was held from 27 May to 3 June 2018 in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Tournament format The 2018 South American Games racquetball competition has two parts. The individual competitions in Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, and a Team competition. The individual competitions will be held first beginning on May 27 and concluding on June 1. Three of the individual competitions will have a group stage followed by an elimination stage to determine the medalists.
