Conrad Schools Of Science
Conrad Schools of Science is a public high school in unincorporated New Castle County, Delaware, United States and has a Wilmington postal address. It opened in 1935 as the Henry C. Conrad High School before closing in 1978 to become the middle school; existing students were bussed to Wilmington High School. It reopened in 2007 as the magnet school Conrad Schools of Science. It is one of seven high schools in the Red Clay Consolidated School District and offers grades six through twelve. Student life Athletics Conrad Schools are part of the Diamond State Athletic Conference. Wilmington ( Lenape: ''Paxahakink /'' ''Pakehakink)'' is the largest city in the U.S. state of Delaware. Delaware Senate
The Delaware Senate is the upper house of the Delaware General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Delaware. It is composed of 21 Senators, each of whom is elected to a four-year term, except when reapportionment occurs, at which time Senators may be elected to a two-year term. There is no limit to the number of terms that a Senator may serve. The Delaware Senate meets at the Legislative Hall in Dover. David McBride
David B. McBride (born June 23, 1942) is an American politician who served in the Delaware General Assembly for forty-two years. After serving one term in the Delaware House of Representatives from the 15th district, he was elected to the Delaware Senate from the 13th district in 1980 and served there for 40 years. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected majority leader in the senate before becoming president pro tempore during his last four years in office.
