Conrad Brooks
Conrad Brooks (born Conrad Biedrzycki; January 3, 1931 – December 6, 2017) was an American actor. Career Brooks moved to Hollywood, California, in 1948 at age 17 to pursue a career in acting. He got his start in movies appearing in Ed Wood films such as ''Plan 9 from Outer Space'', ''Glen or Glenda'', and '' Jail Bait.'' Brooks took a break from acting during the 1960s and 1970s, but due to the ongoing interest in the films of Ed Wood he re-emerged in the 1980s and became a prolific actor. He went on to write, produce and direct several films. Along with Gregory Walcott and Paul Marco, Brooks appeared in Tim Burton's film ''Ed Wood''. Brooks was a frequent guest at the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention, where he signed autographs for fans. He made a cameo appearance as the pianist for the Sound The Surrender music video by heavy metal band, Darkest Hour. ''The Beast of Yucca Flats'' (released to television as ''Atomic Monster: The Beast of Yucca Flats'') is a 1961 B-movie horror film written and directed by Coleman Francis. It was produced by Anthony Cardoza, Roland Morin and Jim Oliphant. The film stars Swedish former wrestler Tor Johnson as "the Beast". Plot The film depicts an inexperienced vampire named Dupah (" ass" in Polish), played by director Mark Pirro, who is reluctant to bite his first victim.
