Connor Essegian (born December 12, 2003) is an American college basketball player for the Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Big Ten Conference. Early life and high school career Essegian attended Central Noble High School in Albion, Indiana, where he played basketball. As a sophomore, he led Central Noble to its first NECC Tournament in 50 years and its programs best overall record (22–5). That year he averaged 24.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. His 648 points scored during his sophomore campaign was this highest single season scoring total in Noble County history. As a junior, Essegian led the Cougars to a 20–1 record while averaging 24.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game while shooting better than 41 percent from 3–point range. The NCAA transfer portal is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) application, database, and compliance tool launched on October 15, 2018, to manage and facilitate the process for student athletes seeking to transfer between member institutions. The transfer portal permits student athletes to place their name in an online database declaring their desire to transfer. Athletes enter the portal by informing their current school of their desire to transfer; the school then has two business days to enter the athlete's name in the database. Once an athlete's name is entered in the database, coaches and staff from other schools are permitted to make contact with the athlete to inquire about their interest in visiting the campus and accepting a scholarship. AJ Storr (born August 26, 2003) is an American college basketball player for the Kansas Jayhawks of the Big 12 Conference. Early life and high school career Storr was raised in Rockford, Illinois and played his first three years of high school basketball at Kankakee High School in Kankakee, Illinois. He then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with his father, Ambrozino, and attended Bishop Gorman High School to complete his junior year. Storr spent the 2020–21 season at AZ Compass Prep in Chandler, Arizona, where he helped lead the Dragons to a 28–2 season and a semifinals appearance in the 2021 GEICO Nationals. 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup
The 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup will be the 20th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men's national basketball teams. The tournament will be hosted in Qatar and will be the third to feature 32 teams. It will be the first FIBA Basketball World Cup to be held in the Arab world, and the third straight to be held in Asia after the 2019 tournament in China and the 2023 edition co-hosted by the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia. Qatar will also be the third Muslim country to host after the 2010 edition in Turkey and Indonesia in 2023. Brad Davison (born April 22, 1999) is an American basketball player who currently plays for BC Nevėžis of the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL).
