Connetquot High School (CHS) is a Public school (government funded), public High school (North America), high school serving students from the communities of Bohemia, New York, Bohemia, Oakdale, New York, Oakdale and Ronkonkoma, New York, Ronkonkoma, and parts of Sayville, New York, Sayville and West Sayville, New York, West Sayville, in the 9th-12th grades, located in Bohemia, New York. History The school was established in 1963, three years after voters in the existing Oakdale-Bohemia and Ronkonkoma school districts voted to consolidate their two districts. John Bolaris (born June 27, 1957) is an American television meteorologist and realtor. He has worked as the Chief Meteorologist for ''Weekend Today'', NBC 10, WCBS and Fox 29. Bolaris currently works as the President of BlackLabel Luxury Real Estate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bolaris is a four time Emmy Award winner. Alexis Weik (born September 17, 1972) is an American politician, civil servant, and businesswoman who has represented the 3rd district in the New York State Senate since 2021. Timothy Treadwell (born Timothy William Dexter; April 29, 1957 – October 5, 2003) was an American bear enthusiast, environmentalist, documentary filmmaker, and founder of the bear-protection organization Grizzly People. Salvatore Philip Butera (born September 25, 1952) is an American former professional baseball catcher. He was a major league scout for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball during the 2015 season. Playing career Signed by the Minnesota Twins as an amateur free agent in 1972, Butera made his major league debut in an extra innings game against the Oakland Athletics on April 10, 1980. He struck out in his only at bat. Butera remained with the Twins as Butch Wynegar's back-up until Spring training 1983 when he was dealt to the Detroit Tigers.
