Conner Frankamp
Conner Frankamp (born July 16, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for Gaziantep Basketbol of the Basketbol Süper Ligi and the FIBA Europe Cup. He played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks and Wichita State. He was named to the third team all-Missouri Valley Conference as a junior, averaging 9 points and 3 assists per game. Frankamp entered the 2018 NBA Draft but was not selected in the draft's two rounds. High school career Frankamp played for Wichita North High School in Wichita, Kansas under coach Gary Squires. During high school, he was a four-star recruit who was ranked No. 46 in the ESPN 100 and No. 34 on Rivals’ Class of 2013 list. The Basketball Tournament 2019
The Basketball Tournament 2019 was the sixth edition of The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a 5-on-5, single elimination basketball tournament broadcast by the ESPN family of networks. The tournament, involving 64 teams, started on July 19 and continued through the championship game on August 6 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The winner of the final, Carmen's Crew, received a $2 million prize. Format The tournament began with a field of 64 teams, organized into eight regions of 8 teams, all of which were seeded. In a first for TBT, each regional was hosted by a competing team, with the winner of each regional receiving a prize equal to 25% of that region's ticket proceeds. Balkan International Basketball League
The Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL), also known as the Balkan League, is a multinational professional basketball league that features mostly clubs from the Balkans. The league included teams from countries as Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Israel. The most recent league champion is Hapoel Galil Elyon from Israel. Purpose The purpose of the Balkan International Basketball League is to provide competitive international play for clubs in the Balkans that would otherwise be unable to participate in international basketball. The league achieves this by providing financial support to all participating clubs in order to ease the costs that make international play difficult. FIBA Europe Cup
The FIBA Europe Cup (FEC) is an annual professional club basketball competition organised by FIBA for eligible European clubs. It is FIBA's European-wide second level. Clubs mainly qualify for the competition based on their performance in national leagues and cup competitions, although this is not the sole deciding factor. The league was founded in 2015 as a replacement of the FIBA EuroChallenge. History On June 30, 2015, FIBA announced it would start a new league to compete with Euroleague Basketball's EuroCup. Parade All-America Boys Basketball Team
The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the ''Parade'' All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports. Started by the Sunday magazine in 1957, it had been the longest ongoing selection of high school basketball All-Americans in the country at the time of its final selections in 2015.
