Earl Tywone Stevens (born November 15, 1967), better known by his stage name E-40, is an American rapper. Stevens is a founding member of the rap group The Click (band), The Click and the founder of Sick Wid It Records. He has released 27 studio albums to date, appeared on numerous movie soundtracks, and has also done guest appearances on a host of other rap albums. Initially an Underground music, underground artist, his 1995 solo album ''In a Major Way'' opened him up to a wider audience. Beginning in 1998, he began collaborating with mainstream rappers outside the San Francisco Bay Area. The Federation is an American Hip hop music, hip hop group from Fairfield, California. The group was formed in 2002, composed of producer Rick Rock, Ricardo "Rick Rock" Thomas and three rappers: Anthony "Goldie Gold" Caldwell, Marvin "Doonie Baby/Doon Koon" Selmon and Stressmatic, Thomas "Stressmatic" Jackson. The group released their Federation: The Album, debut studio album in 2004 on Virgin Records and their It's Whateva, sophomore album through Reprise Records in 2007, which is, to date, their recent effort. Sultan Banks (February 26, 1979 – January 2, 2022), better known as Traxamillion, was an American hip hop producer. He produced records such as Keak da Sneak's "Super Hyphy" and Dem Hoodstarz "Grown Man Remix". His first album, ''The Slapp Addict'', was a compilation of Bay Area hyphy artists and was released August 22, 2006. Early life Banks grew up in San Jose, California. While attending Markham Middle School in the early 1990s, Banks visited KSCU, the student radio station at Santa Clara University, and sometimes performed freestyle raps live on the station. Music career Early in his music career, Banks rapped with a backpack rap style with lyrics similar to Bay Area group Hieroglyphics. The HBK Gang (abbreviation for the Heartbreak Gang) is an American hip-hop collective based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded by Iamsu!, Chief, Skipper, and P-Lo in 2008, members also include singer Kehlani and rapper-producers Sage the Gemini, IsThatCJ, Rossi, Dave Steezy, Jay Ant, and Kool John.
