Ana Torroja Fungairiño (born 28 December 1959 in Madrid), 3rd marchioness of Torroja, is a Spanish singer. She was the lead singer of the pop trio Mecano, considered one of the most popular pop bands from Spain during the 1980s and 1990s. Mecano split in 1998 and she embarked on a solo career. Biography Formally styled Marquesa de Torroja, she succeeded to the title upon her father's death in 2021. Ana Torroja met José María Cano while studying economics at university. The two became good friends, and José María soon introduced her to his younger brother, Nacho. After hearing Ana sing José María's guitar compositions, Nacho suggested that the three form a band. In 1981, at 22 years old she became the vocalist of Mecano. After seven Mecano albums and huge success in Europe and Latin America, the continuous touring began taking its toll on the band. Juan Fernando Fonseca (born 29 May 1979) is a Colombian singer. Born in Bogotá, he chose music at an early age, studying music formally at institutions such as Javeriana University in Bogota and Berklee College of Music in Boston. Fonseca's self-titled debut gained him considerable attention in Colombia. His second album released Corazón (2005) explored the crossroads where pop/rock influences meet the vallenato, bullerengue, and tambora. Gratitud followed in 2008, with Ilusión arriving in 2011. Juan Ignacio Gómez Gorjón, better known as Juan Gómez "Chicuelo", (born 1968) is a Spanish flamenco guitarist from Barcelona, composer and director. Although he worked with a wide range of artists, Chicuelo is usually accompanied by the singer Miguel Poveda and singer Duquende, with whom he has toured extensively in Europe, Japan and the US and made many recordings with. He has also been musical director of Compagnie de Danse Japonaise Shohi Kojima ("Japanese Dance Company Shohi Kojima") since 1992, and musical director of the Somorrostro Dansa Flamenca with choreographer Javier Latorre since 2003.
