''Condemned'' ( es, Condenados) is a Spanish 1953 rural melodrama film directed by Manuel Mur Oti and written by José Suárez Carreño and Mur Oti from a Suarez Carreño's play of the same title.Bentley p.127 The picture stars Carlos Lemos, Aurora Bautista and José Suárez. Plot An aging and wealthy farmer (Lemos) sees how his young wife (Bautista) falls increasingly attracted to a newly hired and handsome laborer (Suarez). José Suárez (actor)
José Suárez (19 September 1919 – 6 August 1981) was a Spanish film actor. Career José Suárez made his debut in a short role in ''Altar Mayor'' (1944), a very conventional film, whose director, Gonzalo Delgrás, had paid attention to him in his work as a train conductor in Asturias. He played increasingly important roles in following Delgrás's movies and by 1948 he was already a lead actor. He then became very popular in Spain along the late 40s and early 50s, as one of the main wikt:heartthrob, heartthrobs of the Spanish cinema, along with his contemporaries Francisco Rabal, Jorge Mistral and Alfredo Mayo. José Suárez Carreño
José Suárez Carreño (1915–2002) was a Spanish writer associated with the Generation of '36 movement. He was born in Guadalupe, Mexico, but lived in Madrid from an early age.
