Concord High School is a comprehensive public high school located in the rural, distant community of Concord, Arkansas, United States. The high school provides secondary education for students in grades 7 through 12 and serves as one of five public high schools in Cleburne County, Arkansas. The school's district includes Concord, Drasco, Wilburn, and a very small portion of Tumbling Shoals. Academics Concord High School is accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and the assumed course of study follows the Smart Core curriculum developed by the ADE, which requires students complete at least 22 units prior to graduation. Students complete regular (core and elective) and career focus courses and exams and may take Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exam with the opportunity to receive college credit. Concord High School (CHS) is a public secondary school located in unincorporated New Castle County, Delaware, United States, with a Wilmington postal address. It is one of three high schools in the Brandywine School District. There were 1,084 students enrolled in the fall for the 2019–2020 school year. Mark Mayer is the current principal of Concord High School. History CHS opened in 1967 in response to a rapidly rising population that produced too many students for Brandywine High School, then in the Alfred I. duPont District, to handle on its own. Upon opening, it was located on the same campus as Hanby Junior High and taught only ninth and tenth grades. Construction on CHS' own building was delayed due to a worker strike and did not open until January 1970, an entire semester after the planned date and still without its gym, auditorium, and swimming pool completed. Concord School (Miccosukee)
Concord School was a school for African-American children built in 1894 in the hamlet of Miccosukee, Florida, Miccosukee, in eastern Leon County, Florida. History The earliest mention of Concord School was in the minutes of a school board meeting from 1878. It was mentioned that the teacher's salary was $20.00 per month. Schooling most likely began in the Miccosukee A.M.E. Church. In 1893, two Miccosukee women, Fayette and Jennie Burned sold a half-acre of their land for $1.00 with the stipulation that a school house be constructed there. The first teachers on record were Lucien Fisher (1893—1894), A.B. Spencer (1895—1897). By 1912, Concord School had grown to be one of the five largest African-American rural schools in Leon County and was granted an assistant teacher. In the 1930s the school was enlarged and during the 1960s was combined with the Miccosukee School with the name remaining Concord. The school was closed in 1985. Concord High School is a public high school in Concord, New Hampshire, in the United States. History Concord's first public high school was established in 1846. The original building was the building on the corner of State and School streets. A new school house was built in 1862, which stood until April 1888, when it burned down during a fire started by a chemistry experiment. For the next two years, students took their classes in City Hall. A new high school was built on the same lot, completed and dedicated in September 1890. In 1907, yet another Concord High School, designed to accommodate 500 students, was built on Spring Street in the building which became Kimball School. The Concord School House is a historic one-room schoolhouse in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is operated today as a museum. It is part of the Colonial Germantown Historic District which was named a National Historic Landmark District in 1965. Built in 1775 by Jacob Knorr (or Knor), Concord was the first English-language school in Germantown, which was then a separate town about six miles northwest of Philadelphia. It is built on the corner of the Upper Burial Ground at Washington Lane and Germantown Avenue. It opened to students in October 1775, and served as a school room until at least 1889.
