Concha Andreu
Concepción "Concha" Andreu Rodríguez (born 10 March 1967) is a Spanish oenologist and politician who currently serves as the President of La Rioja. Since 2011 she has been a member of the Parliament of La Rioja. Biography Andreu was born in 1967 in Calahorra. She studied biological sciences at the University of Salamanca and obtained a master's degree in viticulture and oenology from the University of Zaragoza. She obtained a seat at the Parliament of La Rioja in 2011. In the 2015 Riojan regional election, Andreu was the candidate of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) for President of La Rioja The president of La Rioja is the head of government of the Spanish autonomous community of La Rioja. United Left ( es, Izquierda Unida , IU) is a federative political movement in Spain that was first organized as a coalition in 1986, bringing together several left-wing political organizations, most notably the Communist Party of Spain. The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party of Andalusia ( es, link=no, Partido Socialista Obrero Español de Andalucía, PSOE–A) is the Andalusian branch of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party, as well as the largest and most important federation within the PSOE. Formerly known as the Andalusian Socialist Federation (FSA), it was founded in 1977. The party was the ruling party of Andalusia uninterruptedly from 1978 to 2019, having won all regional elections in that time except for the 2012 election, after which it nonetheless was able to maintain the regional government through a coalition with United Left.
