Abigail Conceição De Souza
Abigail Conceição de Souza (October 12, 1921 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul – December 27, 2007 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul) was a Brazilian football (soccer) player. He began playing football at the age of twelve. Abigail was a full back and began his career with Força e Luz football Club of Porto Alegre club that are obsolete today. In February 1942, at the age of twenty years, he was signed by Inter where he was part of the legendary "Scroll Compressor" Colorado (considered by some critics as the greatest team that existed in Rio Grande do Sul). In the famous campaign of the Inter hexacampeonato gaucho, Abigail won four of the six titles. In addition, he served in Grenal 1948, where the famous classic Inter applied a 7-0 rout over the tricolor gaucho. Naldo, real name Ednaldo Mendes da Conceição, (born February 6, 1976 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian soccer striker. He currently plays for California Cougars of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Flávio da Conceição (born 12 June 1974) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Conceição enjoyed a successful career in Spain, where he played for two clubs—including Real Madrid with whom he won six major titles—and also represented Brazil on more than 40 occasions. Club career Born in Santa Maria da Serra, São Paulo, Conceição began his career with Rio Branco in 1992. He then joined Palmeiras a year later, and racked up over 100 first-team appearances during his spell. Francisco Fernandes da Conceição (born 14 December 2002) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Primeira Liga club Porto and the Portugal national football team. Ilda Maria da Conceição (born 23 November 1957), whose resistance names were Lalo Imin (independence or death, never integration) and Wairaha Gae Imin (a big star that rises before the sun in the morning), is a politician from East Timor. She is a member of the FRETILIN party. Personal life Conceição was born in Uatucarbau, Portuguese Timor, the daughter of Beatriz Araújo and Agustinho da Costa Pinto. She spent much of her childhood in Uatucarbau, Viqueque. As a daughter of a nobleman, she had access to a privileged education.
