Con Foley
Con Foley (born 19 September 1992) is a professional rugby union player. He is currently signed to the New Orleans Gold team in the United States and previously played for Australian sides North Harbour and Brisbane City. His usual position is centre or on the wing. Foley has represented Australia in rugby sevens. Early life and career Born in Brisbane, Foley attended St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace before playing his senior club rugby for the University of Queensland Rugby Club. Rugby 7s Con Foley was selected for the Aussie Thunderbolts sevens team at tournaments in Noosa and Samoa before making his international debut at the age of nineteen for at the inaugural 2011 Gold Coast Sevens. He played at the 2013 Rugby Sevens World Cup, where he scored two tries, and at 2014 Commonwealth Games. Foley represented his country at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Major League Rugby (MLR or USMLR) is a professional rugby union competition and the top-level championship for clubs in North America. In the 2022 season it was contested by thirteen teams: twelve from the United States and one from Canada.
