Complete Mage
''Complete Mage'' is a supplemental rule book for the 3.5 edition of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' role-playing game. It is effectively the sequel to ''Complete Arcane''. Contents The book provides feats, prestige classes, and other options for characters interested in magic. Unlike ''Complete Arcane'', ''Complete Mage'' contains no new core classes, but it contains alternative class features for existing classes. Advanced class features ''Complete Mage'' adds 13 new alternative class features. Arcane hunter Rangers learn to track and hunt creatures of a certain type when choosing a favored enemy. Some rangers concern themselves less with what a creature is, and more with what it does. These rangers learn to identify signs of the arcane and make it their business to combat those who use arcane magic in opposition to their goals. Skip Williams
Ralph Williams, almost always referred to as Skip Williams, is an American game designer. He is married to Penny Williams, who is also involved with the games industry. He was the co-creator of ''Dungeons & Dragons'' 3rd Edition and the longtime author of the "Sage Advice" column for ''Dragon Magazine''. Career Born in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Williams was informally acquainted with many of the people who developed and influenced the original ''Dungeons & Dragons'' game, going to school with Gary Gygax's son Ernie and participating in a gaming group that Gary used to playtest some of the ''AD&D'' rules. Arnie Swekel
Arnie Swekel is an artist whose work has appeared in role-playing games. Background Swekel was born May 2, 1964, and grew up in River Rouge, Michigan. After graduating high school he briefly attended The Center for Creative Studies (now called College for Creative Studies) in Detroit but left after only one semester. Swekel's interest in art continued unabated, however and, while largely self-taught, began his career as a professional artist at age 27. Swekel currently works as a principal artist at the computer game company Raven Software and lives in the Madison Wisconsin area with his wife and three children.
