The Chinese language enjoys the status as official language in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu. It is also widely used in Malaysia. However, the language shows a high degree of regional variation among these territories. Linguistic differences In many cases, those in China, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan use different words for the same meaning. Rock paper scissors (also known by other orderings of the three items, with "rock" sometimes being called "stone," or as Rochambeau, roshambo, or ro-sham-bo) is a hand game originating in China, usually played between two people, in which each player simultaneously forms one of three shapes with an outstretched hand.
