Communist Party (Sweden)
The Communist Party (, K) is a Marxist–Leninist political party in Sweden started in 1970. From 1970 to 1977, it was known as the Communist League Marxist–Leninists (Revolutionaries) (, KFML(r)) and from 1977 to 2004 as the Communist Party Marxist–Leninists (Revolutionaries) (, KPML(r)). At the 14th Party Congress held in Gothenburg in January 2005, it was decided to change the name to the current one. KFML(r) was unofficially founded in 1970 by a splinter group from the pro- Chinese KFML, which in turn had split from the Eurocommunist Left Party in 1967. "The (r)s" (''"(r)-arna"'') considered that KFML had approached reformism and was not a genuine workers' movement. In 1970, it began publishing the weekly '' Proletären'' (''The Proletarian''), and the group was officially registered as a political party in 1977. During the 1980s, KPML(r) achieved representation in some municipalities, including Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city. The Gothenburg region has always ...

In 1970, a left wing faction based in Gothenburg broke away and formed KFML(r). In 1973, KFML took the name Sveriges Kommunistiska Parti (Communist Party of Sweden), the old party name of VPK. SKP held its first party congress January 4–7, 1973. The second party congress was held in Gustavsberg April 15–19, 1976. SKS(ml)
The SKS () is a semi-automatic rifle designed by Soviet small arms designer Sergei Gavrilovich Simonov in the 1940s. The SKS was first produced in the Soviet Union but was later widely exported and manufactured by various nations. Its distinguishing characteristics include a permanently attached folding bayonet and a hinged, fixed magazine. As the SKS lacked select-fire capability and its magazine was limited to ten rounds, it was rendered obsolete in the Soviet Armed Forces by the introduction of the AK-47 in the 1950s. Nevertheless, SKS carbines continued to see service with the Soviet Border Troops and second-line and reserve army units for decades. The SKS was manufactured at Tula Arsenal from 1949 to 1958, and at the Izhevsk Arsenal from 1953 to 1954. Altogether, the Soviet Union produced 2.7 million SKS carbines. Throughout the Cold War, millions of additional SKS carbines and their derivatives were also manufactured under license in the People's Republic of China, a ...

Fred Åkerström
Fred Bo Gunnar Åkerström (27 January 1937 – 9 August 1985) was a Swedish folk guitarist and singer particularly noted for his interpretations of Carl Michael Bellman's music, and his own work of the typically Swedish song segment named ''visa''. These songs, ''visor'', are traditionally very narrative and the performance is "acted" to some degree. The singer is in context a ''vissångare'', a troubadour character. Åkerström was also known for his actor's interpretations of Bellman's 18th century material, and his unusual ability to reach deep bass notes (especially on his interpretation of Bellman's song '' Glimmande nymf''). Life Åkerström was born in Stockholm to a family of meager circumstances, which would later influence the social, economic, and political criticisms found in many of his works and public appearances. He aspired at an early age to become a ''vissångare,'' after having heard local singer-songwriter Ruben Nilson (1893-1971). After performances at t ...

Totta Näslund
Erik Torsten "Totta" Näslund (1 April 1945 – 19 June 2005) was a Swedish blues musician and actor. Biography Näslund was born in Sandviken and grew up in a small working-class town in Ångermanland in the middle of Sweden called Köpmanholmen, but moved to Gothenburg in 1970 to find work. He was working in the Gothenburg docks when he joined Nynningen, a rock group with leftist political texts and inspired by the Russian Communist poet Mayakovsky. Totta Näslund became the group's main singer. In the mid-1970s, Nynningen fused with Nationalteatern, a musical theater ensemble with many members. Totta Näslund joined the group as singer, guitar-player and actor. Nationalteatern developed away from the theater and became a straight rock group, a ''rock orchestra'' as they called themselves. Even though Totta never wrote any own songs for the band, he was probably the most prominent member, next to Ulf Dageby. Nationalteatern was one of the many leftist music and theater gro ...
