''Comedy Map of Britain'' is a BBC Documentary film, documentary series which visits the places that have inspired many of United Kingdom, Britain's leading comedians. It first aired on BBC Two in 2007 and 2008. A documentary film or documentary is a non-fictional film, motion-picture intended to "document reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction, education or maintaining a Recorded history, historical record". Syd Little (born Cyril John Mead; 19 December 1942) is an English comedian who was the straight man in the double act Little and Large, with Eddie Large. Life and career Born in Blackpool, Little was raised in Manchester.
