Anselm-François Comeau
Anselm-François Comeau (December 2, 1793 – November 27, 1867) was a farmer, businessman and politician of Acadian descent in Nova Scotia. He represented Clare, Nova Scotia, Clare Township in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1840 to 1855, generally supporting the Reform Party. He was born in Comeauville, Nova Scotia, the son of François Comeau and Marguerite Melanson. In 1824, he married Marie-Gertrude Amirault. Comeau was also involved in lumbering, owning a sawmill, and fishing. He served as postmaster for Clare, Nova Scotia, Clare. Comeau was named a magistrate for Clare in 1848. In 1855, he was named to the province's Legislative Council of Nova Scotia, Legislative Council, serving until his death in 1867. Marcel Comeau
Marcel Comeau (born March 1, 1952) is a Canadian ice hockey scout, and former player, coach, and National Hockey League team executive. He played eleven seasons in the International Hockey League (IHL), where he was the league's top scorer and won the IHL Most Valuable Player Award in 1981. He later coached in the Western Hockey League (WHL), winning two WHL Coach of the Year Awards, and a Canadian Hockey League Coach of the Year Award. He also led Team Canada to a gold medal at the 1996 World Juniors, and later served as a team executive for the Atlanta Thrashers, and the Winnipeg Jets. Early life Marcel Comeau was born on March 1, 1952, in Edmonton, Alberta. His parents, Emile and Anita Comeau, moved to Ponoka and operated the local Massey Ferguson retailer. Baie-Comeau () is a city in the Côte-Nord region of the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, and is the seat of Manicouagan Regional County Municipality.
