The COMCO Cash Spiel is a bonspiel that is part of the men's and women's Ontario Curling Tour. The event is an annual event held in November and takes place at the Stroud Curling Club in Stroud, Ontario, Stroud, Ontario. The bonspiel is open to both men's and women's teams. Ontario Curling Tour
The Ontario Curling Tour is a group of curling bonspiels, which takes places in Ontario, Canada and attracts some of the top male and female curlers in the province, and from across the country and world. The OCT was designed to promote competitive curling from a grass root level. The events for the Ontario Curling Tour begin at the end of August and typically run until December, with occasional events taking place in January. Several of the events on the Ontario Curling Tour are also included in the World Curling Tour. All events on the Ontario Curling Tour, much like those on World Curling Tour, contain a prize purse for the winning teams, and award CTRS (Canadian Team Ranking System) points to the Canadian teams competing. CTRS points qualify teams for the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials and events such as the Canada Cup of Curling. Chris Wimmer (born June 23, 1979) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He has raced mostly in short track competition and as high as the NASCAR Busch Series (now Xfinity Series). Wimmer competed in the ASA Midwest Tour (now ARCA Midwest Tour) where he finished as high as second in his final season (2013). He has run a more limited schedule of touring events since. Richard Krell
Richard Frederick Krell (born July 13, 1992) is a Canadian curler from Canmore, Alberta. He currently plays third on Team Jeff Richard. Career University curling Krell was a member of the Wilfrid Laurier University curling team, winning provincial titles in 2015 and 2016 and a national title in 2016. Krell has played in the 2014, 2015 and 2016 CIS/CCA Curling Championships for Laurier, throwing third stones for Aaron Squires. Men's While playing third for Laurier, Krell would also skip his own team on the World Curling Tour. He has been skipping a team on the WCT since 2013. Dayna Deruelle (born June 17, 1982) is a Canadian curler from Brampton, Ontario. He currently skips a rink on the World Curling Tour. His team competes in various events on the Ontario Curling Tour throughout the season and competes annually in the Ontario Curling Association Dominion Tankard play downs. Deruelle and his teammates Andrew McGaugh, Kevin Lagerquist and Evan DeViller enjoyed some success in their first season as a team when they qualified to represent Region 3 in the 2012 Ontario Dominion Tankard in Stratford, Ontario. Furthermore, the team qualified for the playoffs after finishing 5-5 in the round robin and winning a tie-breaker. Darryl Prebble
Darryl Prebble (born March 9, 1978) is a Canadian curler. Prebble has curled off and on the World Curling Tour since 1999. He has played with skips such as Pat Ferris, Greg Balsdon, Peter Steski, Peter Corner and John Epping. He also skipped in his own right from 2008 to 2010. He currently skips a team on the Ontario Curling Tour. Prebble has played in three Grand Slam events, all as John Epping's second in the 2010-11 curling season. His first Grand Slam was the 2010 Swiss Chalet National where the Epping rink missed the playoffs with a 2-3 record. Their next Grand Slam was the 2011 BDO Canadian Open where they again finished the round robin with a 2-3 record. However, this was good enough for a tie breaker, which the team lost to Rob Fowler. Prebble's final slam was at the 2011 Players' Championship where the team was eliminated in four games after posting just one win. Patrick "Pat" Ferris (born October 28, 1975 in North York, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Grimsby, Ontario. He currently skips his own team. Career Ferris had a successful junior career. In 1993, he skipped his Sutton District High School team to a provincial schoolboy championship. He won back to back provincial junior titles in 1995 and 1996. This qualified Ferris to skip the Ontario team at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in both of those years. At the 1995 Canadian Juniors, he led Ontario and teammates Chris Schell, Bryan Johnson and Paul Webster to a 6-5 record, missing the playoffs.

Scott McPherson (October 13, 1959 Columbus, Ohio – November 7, 1992 Chicago) was an American playwright. Life He graduated from Ohio University. In 1981, he moved to Chicago, where he acted in ''The House of Blue Leaves'' and "The Normal Heart," where he met actor and Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Steven Drukman with whom he lived for three years. He joined the play writing group Chicago New Plays. His partner at the time of his death was activist and cartoonist Daniel Sotomayor. He died of complications from AIDS on November 7, 1992, aged 33. Ohio University named a new theater space for him. The Goodman Theatre and the Victory Gardens Theater have established an annual playwriting award in his name. Cory Heggestad
Cory Heggestad (born February 4, 1973 in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian curler from Barrie, Ontario. He currently skips a team on the World Curling Tour. Heggestad is a former Canadian Mixed Curling Champion. At the 2013 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, he skipped a rink that included Heather Graham, Greg Balsdon and Amy MacKay to a national championship for Ontario. After posting a 9-2 round robin record, the team beat Quebec (skipped by Mike Fournier) and then Nova Scotia ( Brent MacDougall) to claim the championship. The team represented Ontario once again at the 2014 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, finishing the round robin tied for third with an 8-3 record. After beating New Brunswick's Sylvie Robichaud rink in a tie breaker, the team beat Saskatchewan's Shaun Meachem in the semi-final before losing to Alberta's Darren Moulding in the final.
