Tennis Score
The tennis scoring system is a standard widespread method for scoring tennis matches, including pick-up games. Some tennis matches are played as part of a tournament, which may have various categories, such as singles and doubles. The great majority are organised as a single-elimination tournament, with competitors being eliminated after a single loss, and the overall winner being the last competitor without a loss. Optimally, such tournaments have a number of competitors equal to a power of two in order to fully fill out a single elimination bracket. In many professional and top-level amateur events, the brackets are seeded according to a recognised ranking system, in order to keep the best players in the field from facing each other until as late in the tournament as possible; additionally, if byes are necessary because of a less-than-full bracket, those byes in the first round are usually given to the highest-seeded competitors. A tennis match is composed of points, games, a ...

Coman Of Kinvara
Coman of Kinvara was an early Medieval Irish Saint. Coman is the patron saint of St. Coman's Church, Kinvara, County Galway, Ireland. The church is situated on a hillock within the town but has been abandoned since the late 19th century and is severely neglected. Little is known of Coman. He appears to belong to the early historic era of Ireland; the ''Annals of the Four Masters'' noted the death of Ailbhe of Ceann Mhara in the year 814, so the presumption is that a church was already built, and dedicated, by the early 9th century. The Voyage of the Uí Chorra, dated to about the 11th century, describes the destruction of the church of the holy old man Coman of Kinvara. It has been suggested that Coman should be identified with Colman MacDuagh or Caimin of Inis Cealtra. Both were related to Guaire Aidne mac Colmáin whose fort of Dunguaire Castle is located some hundreds of yards away. Other proposed identifications are that of Coman mac Faolchu (founder of Roscommon) or a Co ...

Coman mac Faelchon was an Irish saint, the founder, abbot and bishop of Roscommon, fl. 550. Life Coman was a member of the Cinel Domaingen, a branch of the Sogain of Connacht. He studied at the monastic school of Clonard in County Meath, where he became associated with Saint Finnian of Clonard. About 550, after completing his education, he founded a monastery on the east bank of the River Suck, at a wood (''ros'') which was called after him ( ''Ros Comain''). Ros Comain was situated on Magh nAi (later known as ''the plains of Roscommon''/''the plains of Boyle''), homeland of the Ui Briuin Kings of Connacht. He successfully sought their patronage, ensuring his influence within their spheres of power. His successors are named in the Irish annals between the years 782 and 1135. He has been linked with the foundation of Kilcommon in County Mayo and the early monastic church at Leithglin, County Carlow. He composed a rule for monks, which came to be observed by many religious bod ...
