Colțea București was a football team from Bucharest Bucharest ( , ; ro, București ) is the capital and largest city of Romania, as well as its cultural, industrial, and financial centre. History Colțea București came from the desire to create a club at the time made up only of Romanian football. The headquarters of the club was "Bolta Rece", the current Stadionul Arcul de Triumf, Arcul de Triumf Stadium, next to Arcul de Triumf and next to Herăstrău Park. The club was founded to oppose foreign American, English and German teams and to prove Romanian sporting abilities. In June 1913, a few students at the "St. Sava" created a football team. The Liga 3, most often spelled as Liga III, is the third level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia C to Liga III before the start of the 2006–07 season.
