Coláiste Feirste
Coláiste Feirste is the only secondary-level Irish-medium school in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Previously known as ''Méanscoil Feirste'', the (Irish language school) is located in the west of the city in a new facility on Belfast's Falls Road. Founded in 1991 with just nine pupils, as of 2022 the school had around 850 pupils and 65 teachers. The school was first situated in Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich and was opened under the care of the first school principal Fergus O'Hare who was replaced in 2002 by Garaí Mac Roibeaird as principal. Mícheal Mac Giolla Ghunna has been principal since 2019. County Antrim (named after the town of Antrim, ) is one of six counties of Northern Ireland and one of the thirty-two counties of Ireland. Kneecap (band)
Kneecap are a hip hop trio from Belfast, Northern Ireland, with the stage-names Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí. They sing in Irish and English and often reference their support for republicanism. They first began releasing music in 2017 with their single "C.E.A.R.T.A." (Irish for "RIGHTS" as in human rights). They released their first album, ''3CAG,'' in 2018, and continued to release various singles such as "Get Your Brits Out". History The group began when Móglaí Bap was out spray-painting with a friend the day before the Irish Language Act march in Belfast. He had written "Cearta" on a bus stop when the police arrived and arrested his friend while Móglaí escaped. GAA Handball Ireland (Irish: ''Liathróid Láimhe C.L.G. na hÉireann'') is the governing body for the sport of Gaelic handball in all of its codes in Ireland. Handball is one of the four Gaelic games organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. Its headquarters is located in Croke Park, Dublin. There are approximately 200 handball clubs in Ireland. Niall Ó Donnghaile (; born 28 May 1985) is an Irish Sinn Féin politician who has served as Leader of Sinn Féin in the Seanad since June 2020 and a Senator for the Administrative Panel since April 2016.
