Columbia Asia is a Multinational corporation, multinational chain of hospitals, and one of the largest and fastest-growing healthcare companies in Southeast Asia. Columbia Asia started its operations in 1996, with the first hospital acquired a year later in Sarawak, East Malaysia. Currently, it has 19 medical facilities across Southeast Asia: 13 in Malaysia, 3 in Vietnam, and 3 in Indonesia. In September 2019, a joint-venture partnership between Malaysian-based conglomerate, Hong Leong Group, and alternative asset firm, TPG had acquired most of Columbia Asia assets in Southeast Asia which include Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia with a total of 19 medical facilities. Bintulu
Bintulu is a coastal town on the island of Borneo in the central region of Sarawak, Malaysia. Bintulu is located 610 kilometres (380 mi) northeast of Kuching, 216 kilometres (134 mi) northeast of Sibu, and 200 kilometres (120 mi) southwest of Miri. With a population of 114,058 as of 2010, Bintulu is the capital of the Bintulu District of the Bintulu Division of Sarawak, Malaysia.
