Colton Moore
Colton Chase Moore (born October 10, 1993) is an American politician who represented Georgia's 1st House District in the Georgia State House Representative from January 14, 2019, to January 14, 2021. At 24 years old, he is the youngest elected official ever from Dade County, Georgia. Personal life Early life and education Moore was born and raised on his family farm in Dade County, Georgia, where he resides today. As a child, Moore said he "idolized Teddy Roosevelt, seeing him as a figure who acted quickly and boldly". Moore was the State President of Georgia Future Business Leaders of America under Executive Director Monty Rhodes from March 2011 to March 2012. Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is a libertarian, classical liberal and Conservatism in the United States, conservative student activism organization headquartered in Austin, Texas. Interstate 24 (I-24) is an Interstate Highway in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States. It runs diagonally from I-57, south of Marion, Illinois, to Chattanooga, Tennessee, at I-75. It travels through Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia. As an even-numbered Interstate, it is signed as an east–west route, though the route follows a more southeast–northwest routing, passing through Nashville, Tennessee. The numbering deviates from the standard Interstate Highway System grid, lying further north than its number would indicate west of Nashville. John Nathan Deal (born August 25, 1942) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 82nd governor of Georgia from 2011 to 2019. He was elected to the United States House of Representatives as a member of the Democratic Party in 1992 and switched to the Republican Party in 1995. David Ralston (March 14, 1954 – November 16, 2022) was an American attorney and a Republican politician who was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives from 2003 until his death. The 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election took place on November 6, 2018, concurrently with other statewide and local elections to elect the next governor of the U.S. state of Georgia. Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp won the election, defeating Democratic former State Representative Stacey Abrams. The primary elections were held on May 22, 2018, and a primary runoff was held on July 24, 2018, between Republican candidates Kemp and Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle; Kemp prevailed. Incumbent Republican Governor Nathan Deal was term-limited and thus could not seek re-election to a third consecutive term.
