Sonia Borg
Sonia Ingeborg Borg (20 February 1931 – 4 February 2016) was an Austrian-Australian writer and producer, one of the leading screenwriters of Australian films and TV in the 1960 and 70s. After extensive experience in theatre in Germany, India and South-East Asia she moved to Australia in 1961 and worked as a stage and television actress before becoming joining Crawford Productions in Melbourne. She wrote, produced and acted at Crawfords until the mid-1970s and worked on most of the company's dramas of the period in a range of roles. Judy Morris
Judith Ann Morris (born 17 February 1947) is an Australian character actress, as well as a film director and screenwriter, well known for the variety of roles she played in 58 different television shows and films, starting her career as a child actress and appearing on screen until 1999, since then she has worked on film writing and directing, most recently for co-writing and co-directing a musical epic about the life of penguins in Antarctica which became ''Happy Feet'', Australia's largest animated film project to date. Early career Morris's first role came at the age of 10 when she was part of the cast of the television episode "Picture of the Magi" a ''Family Theater'' production which aired about 1957 on the Mutual Broadcasting System in the United States. Margaret Paice
Margaret Dawn Paice (1 September 1920 – 19 November 2016) was an Australian children's writer, commercial artist and book illustrator. Early life and education Margaret Dawn Cantle was born in Brisbane, Australia on 1 September 1920, daughter of Violet (née Burman) and Sydney Cantle. Paice was raised in rural Queensland and was educated locally and through correspondence schooling, before attending Moreton Bay High School. Career Paice had several poems published in ''The Central Queensland Herald'' in 1937. In 1942 she married Hubert Whitfield Paice. He died in 1955 and Paice moved to Sydney, where she studied at the National Art School and the Royal Art Society, gaining employment as a commercial artist. Paice wrote and illustrated her first book, ''Mirram'', in 1955. It was commended in the picture book category of the 1955 Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year awards.
