Color Humano
Color Humano was an Argentine rock group of the early 1970s. History The dissolution of Almendra yielded three new outfits, one of them being Color Humano. This power trio was a solid rock group, which would in 1972 release their debut album ''Color Humano'', following the Argentine rock etiquette of naming the first studio release after the band. The record is one of those unusual works that do not feature a hit song, but where the entire set of tracks as a whole become a thoroughly enjoyable listen, a mixture of acoustic rock songs and slightly harder edge ones. David Lebón would leave and be replaced by Oscar Moro. This change would shift the group's sound. Between March and June 1973, Color Humano recorded enough songs for a double album. Due to business decisions the album was released as two separate LPs on the newly created Talent label. The new set of songs were richer and more elaborate, spanning different rhythms and styles. Oscar Moro
Óscar Moro (January 24, 1948 – July 11, 2006) was an Argentine rock drummer. Óscar Moro was born and raised in Rosario. Moro joined a childhood friend, Litto Nebbia, and three others in forming the pioneer Argentine rock and roll band Los Gatos, in 1966. The group became known for their all-night performances, and composed most of their own songs, many in the well-known neighborhood café, "La Perla del Once" (facing Plaza Miserere). One such composition, " La balsa" (''The Raft''), was written at that location by Nebbia and the ill-fated songwriter Tanguito on May 2, 1967, and following its release on the RCA Victor label on July 3, sold over 250,000 copies. They were the first Argentine rock group to achieve renown outside their country, and their first albums became known as the birth of Argentine rock. Los Gatos split in 1970, however. La Máquina De Hacer Pájaros
La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros ("The bird-making machine") was a mid-1970s progressive and symphonic rock band from Argentina, with strong influences by Genesis, Premiata Forneria Marconi, Yes, and Steely Dan. In their brief two-year lifespan, they didn't have much public acceptance. It wasn't until several years later that they achieved a very high reputation nationally as well as internationally. Their self-titled debut in 1976 was a blend of sixties rock, jazz-rock, classic rock, and symphonic rock. Some of the songs that stand out are "Como mata el viento norte" and "Bubulina". Their second and final album, 1977's ''Películas'' leaned more towards jazz and some experimentation, leading to a more crude progressive rock, which had more complex and elaborate songs. A good example of this are the songs "Hipercandombe" and "Qué se puede hacer salvo ver peliculas". Argentine rock (known locally as ''rock nacional'' , "national rock" in the sense of "local", "not international") is rock music composed or performed by Argentine bands or artists mostly in Spanish. Argentine rock began by recycling hits of English-language rock & roll. David Lebón
David Oscar Lebón (Buenos Aires, October 5, 1952) is an Argentine rock multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter of Argentinian rock, long considered during the 70s and 80s the best guitar player in the country.. Career Born into a family of immigrants (his father was Basque-French and his mother a Russian), Lebón lived his childhood in Ituzaingó, Buenos Aires, with his father and three sisters. By age eight, he moved to the United States of America with his mother, their residence in the US coincided with the "Beatlemania", popular phenomenon which influenced on his future career as musician.
