Davide Colomba
Davide Colomba (born 19 July 1988) is an Italian professional football player who last played for Indian club FC Pune City. A midfielder, he is the son of Franco Colomba, who brought Davide to Italian side Parma F.C. when he had been head coach there in the summer of 2011, as well as FC Pune City in the summer of 2014. Career Davide started his career at Bologna, which also trained his father at youth. Davide made his Serie B debut on 12 January 2008 against Mantova. Davide joined Foggia in 2008 for an undisclosed fee. In 2010, he was signed by SPAL 1907. Elizabeth Colomba
Elizabeth Colomba (born 1976) is a French painter of Martinique heritage known for her paintings of black people in historic settings. Her work has been shown at the Gracie Mansion, the Wallach Art Gallery at Columbia University, the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, the Musée d'Orsay, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Early life Colomba was born in Èpinay-sur-Seine, where her parents had immigrated to from Martinique. As a child, she told her mother she wanted to become a painter after learning about Picasso. She began painting early, making watercolors as a child to decorate her parents' Caribbean restaurant. As a teenager, she read ''The Image of the Black in Western Art'' by John and Dominique de Menil, which inspired her to paint a portrait of her great-grandmother in the style of ''Whistler’s Mother''. Franco Colomba (born 6 February 1955 in Grosseto) is an Italian football coach and former player, most recently in charge of Serie B club Livorno. Career Playing Colomba, a midfielder, started his playing career in Bologna, making his Serie A debut during the 1973–74 season. He played for Bologna until 1983, except two loan spells at Serie B teams Modena and Sambenedettese, in 1975 and 1976 respectively. After having left Bologna, Colomba signed for Avellino, a minor Serie A team where he played until 1988, when Avellino relegated to Serie B, and became a favourite among the ''biancoverdi'' fans. He ended his career in 1990 with Modena. Coaching After three years as youth coach for Modena and Spal, Colomba took his first head coaching job in 1993, at the helm of Olbia of Serie C2. Luca Antonio Colomba
Luca Antonio Colomba (1674–1737) was a Swiss Baroque painter born at Arogno. His style was distinguished for its happy compositions and its careful design, as also for the delicate and tender colours. He painted in oil and fresco. He was the son of Giovanni Battista Colomba of Arogno in the Swiss-Italian region of Ticino. He first trained with his father, as well as influenced by painters of his circle, as Carlo Antonio Bussi, Santino Bussi, and Carpoforo Tencalla. In 1697, he married Martha Tosetti of Lugano; a year later the couple had a son and daughter. He was widowed and married in 1712 a second wife, Anna Maria, daughter of the painter Giovanni Carloni, and sister of Carlo Innocenzo Carloni and Diego Carloni. Massimo Colomba
Massimo Colomba (born 24 August 1977, in Villars-sur-Glâne) is a Swiss footballer who played as goalkeeper. He is currently the goalkeeper coach of both FC Sion. Career As a child Colomba played in the youth teams of his local side FC Villars-sur-Glâne. In 1995, he moved to Fribourg and played one year for FC Richemond and one for FC Beauregard. Colomba began his professional career with Neuchatel Xamax in 1997. He was their reserve goalkeeper for three years and first-choice keeper during the 2000–01 and 2001–02 seasons.
