Colm Imbert
Colm Imbert is the Ministry of Finance (Trinidad and Tobago), Minister of Finance since September 2015 and Member of Parliament for the constituency of Diego Martin North/East, which he has represented since December 1991. During his lengthy parliamentary career, Imbert has served in numerous government positions. He was previously Minister of Health (2001–2003), Minister of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education (2003–2005), Minister of Works and Transport (1991–1995 and 2005–2010), Minister of Local Government (1993–1995), Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago 2010-2015) as well as Leader of Government Business in the House of Representatives (2007–2010). The Ministry of Finance is a cabinet ministry in the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. The head of the ministry is the Minister of Finance and is appointed by the President of Trinidad and Tobago on the advice of the Prime Minister. Keith Rowley
Keith Christopher Rowley (born 24 October 1949) is a Trinidadian and Tobagonian politician serving as the seventh prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago, first elected into office on 9 September 2015 and again following the 2020 general election. He has led the People's National Movement (PNM) since May 2010 and was Leader of the Opposition from 2010 to 2015. He has also served as the Member of the House of Representatives for Diego Martin West since 1991. He is a volcanologist by profession, holding a doctorate in geology, specializing in geochemistry. Anthony Isidore Smart is a Trinidadian politician and lawyer. He served as a Member of Parliament from December 1986 to November 1991 and Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago from March 1989 to November 1991. The People's National Movement (PNM) is the longest-serving and oldest active political party in Trinidad and Tobago. The party has dominated national and local politics for much of Trinidad and Tobago's history, contesting all elections since 1956 serving as the nation's governing party or on four occasions, the main opposition. Diego Martin
Diego Martin is a town and is the urban commercial center and capital of the Diego Martin region in Trinidad and Tobago. Its location in the region is just on the south eastern border, west of the capital city of Port of Spain and east of the town of Carenage.
