William Collins House (Fall River, Massachusetts)
The William Collins House is a historic house in Fall River, Massachusetts. It was built in 1800 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The house is a small -story vernacular farmhouse with the typical five-bay, center chimney plan. It has window trim elements that are probably a mid-19th century Italianate addition. It is one of six houses in the Steep Brook area considered to be the best representatives of the pre-industrial era of the city's history, amplified by the house's setting on a large and semi-rural lot. Timothy Edwards Collins Mansion
The Collins Mansion is a historic home in Great Falls, Montana, United States. The mansion was built in 1891 by Irish born Timothy Edward Collins, a local businessman who initially traveled to Montana during the gold rush. This, his second Great Falls residence was one of the town's first homes built on the west side of the Missouri River. The brick home, now covered in a stucco facade from the 1960s, is classified as Edwardian and Norman Shaw Queen Anne styles and was Great Falls' first home to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. James V
James V (10 April 1512 – 14 December 1542) was King of Scotland from 9 September 1513 until his death in 1542. He was crowned on 21 September 1513 at the age of seventeen months. James was the son of King James IV and Margaret Tudor, and during his childhood Scotland was governed by regents, firstly by his mother until she remarried, and then by his second cousin, John, Duke of Albany. James's personal rule began in 1528 when he finally escaped the custody of his stepfather, Archibald Douglas, Earl of Angus. His first action was to exile Angus and confiscate the lands of the Douglases. James greatly increased his income by tightening control over royal estates and from the profits of justice, customs and feudal rights. He founded the College of Justice in 1532, and also acted to end lawlessness and rebellion in the Borders and the Hebrides.
