College Fall
College Fall is a pop band featuring Glenn Musto and Jodie Bartlett, formed in Western Australia in 2005 by former members of local bands Josivac, Showbag and the Nordeens. Biography Glenn Musto was previously the main singer/songwriter in The Nordeens and Showbag. Jodie Bartlett joined Showbag in 2003, in time to record the band's only album, ''The Town We Loved In''. After Showbag's disintegration, Musto relocated to England and travelled through Europe and USA performing solo. The band played its first performance on 31 July 2005 at the Velvet Lounge in Perth, Western Australia. In March 2006 they toured the eastern states of Australia, playing in Adelaide and Melbourne. In June 2006 College Fall commenced their first tour of Europe, a self-organised fifty date tour, playing in the UK (Rock for Tibet, Eat the World festival), Denmark (Byfest, Skanderborg festival), Finland and France before returning to Western Australia in November that year. Sculpture By The Sea
The Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in Sydney and Perth is Australia's largest annual outdoor sculpture exhibition. This exhibition was initiated in 1997, at Bondi Beach and it featured sculptures by both Australian and overseas artists. In 2005, a companion event was established at Cottesloe Beach in Western Australia featuring over 70 artists. In 2009 it was announced that Aarhus in Denmark would host the first Sculpture by the Sea exhibition outside of Australia. This exhibition is held annually during spring in Australia at Bondi Beach () and Cottesloe Beach (), from late October to early November for three weeks. Over 100 local, interstate and international artists participate every year. Sculpture by the Sea is incredibly popular and draws considerable crowds. 78 Saab were a rock band from Australia that consisted of Ben Nash (vocals and guitar), Jake Andrews (guitar and vocals), Garth Tregillgas (bass and vocals) and Nicholai Danko (drums and percussion). The band has stated that it was influenced by acts such as the Rolling Stones, R.E.M. and The Church. Youth Group is an Australian rock band based in Newtown, New South Wales.
