Colleen Mullen
Colleen Margaret Mullen (born June 19, 1980) is an American college basketball coach and former player. She is the head coach of the Albany women's basketball team. High school Mullen played basketball and volleyball at Chelmsford High School in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. She earned a letter in each of her four years as a basketball player. In her sophomore year she was named captain of the team and remained as captain through her junior and senior years. She earned MVP honors for her team in each of her last three years, and as a senior earned honorable mention All–''USA Today'' honors. As a volleyball player, she lettered three times and help the team to the Division I North championship in her junior and senior years. As a volleyball player, she earned Globe All-Scholastic honors, and captained each of her three seasons. Chelmsford, Massachusetts
Chelmsford () is a town in Massachusetts that was established in 1655. It is located northwest of Boston. The Chelmsford militia played a role in the American Revolution at the Battle of Lexington and Concord and the Battle of Bunker Hill. Chelmsford was incorporated in May 1655 by an act of the Massachusetts General Court. When Chelmsford was incorporated, its local economy was fueled by lumber mills, limestone quarries and kilns. Chelmsford High School
Chelmsford High School is a public, coeducational high school founded in 1917. The current building is located in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States, and was built in 1974. Before 1974 the high school was located in the current McCarthy Middle School building. It serves as the public high school for students in grades nine through 12 and has been ranked among the top 500 schools in the nation by ''Newsweek''. The 2019–20 NCAA Division I women's basketball season began in November 2019 and concluded prematurely on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, COVID-19 pandemic. 2018–19 Albany Great Danes Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Albany Great Danes women's basketball team represents the University at Albany, SUNY during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Great Danes, led by first year head coach Colleen Mullen, play their home games at SEFCU Arena and were members of the America East Conference. They finished the season 13–18, 9–7 in America East play to finish in fourth place. They defeated Binghamton in the quarterfinals before losing to Maine in the semifinals of the America East women's tournament. The organization was formed in 1981, with the goal of addressing the needs of women's basketball coaches. The America East Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I founded in 1979, whose members are located in the Northeastern United States. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996.
