''Collectif Paris-Africa pour l'UNICEF'' (English: ''Paris-Africa collective for UNICEF'') is the first album by group Collectif Paris-Africa formed by UNICEF. It was released in France on 5 December 2011 . The first single called "Des ricochets" was released on 25 October 2011. The profits of the album will go to humanitary aid for the people in Horn of Africa. The album has two discs. Collectif Paris-Africa
''Collectif Paris Africa'' (Paris-Africa Collective) is a French group and French speaking international artists united by UNICEF. Its purpose is to collect money for nutrition and food for the poor countries in Horn of Africa (Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Somalia). The group released a single called " Des ricochets" ("skimming stones"), referring to the poor availability of fresh water in the area) which was followed by compilation album ''Collectif Paris-Africa pour l'Unicef''. Amel Bent
Amel Bent Bachir ( ar, آمال بنت بشير; born 21 June 1985) is a French R&B and pop singer who gained fame after reaching the semi-finals of season 2 of French TV singing competition ''Nouvelle Star''. She is best-selling artist to come from that competition. She is currently a "coach" on the similar French talent show '' The Voice: la plus belle voix''. Biography Amel Bent grew up in the Paris suburb of La Courneuve with her Algerian father and Moroccan mother. She has a brother and a sister. Her career jump started after making it to the semi-finals of the reality TV show '' Nouvelle Star 2'', France's version of Pop Idol. Gérard Lenorman
Gérard Lenorman (born 9 February 1945) is a French singer-songwriter. Lenorman was born at the Château de Bénouville, Calvados (Normandy) when it was a maternity hospital. He is the son of Madeleine Lenormand and an unknown German soldier. Lenorman has four children with his ex-wife Caroline: Mathieu, Justine, Clémence and Victor. He released his first album in 1969. In 1988, he represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland, reaching tenth place with " Chanteur de charme". Lenorman was very popular in France and Francophonie, during the 1970s and early 1980s. In 1994, a compilation of his hits ''Vos plus belles chansons'' went gold in France. Florent Mothe (; born May 13, 1981) is a French singer, actor and musician. He is most famous for playing the role of Antonio Salieri in ''Mozart, l'opéra rock''. In this role, he performed on a number of singles including ''Vivre à en crever'', ''l'Assasymphonie'', and ''Le bien qui fait mal''. Rémy Ranguin better known by his stage name Colonel Reyel (born 5 October 1984) is a French singer. His 2011 album ''Au Rapport'' reached the top of the French Albums Chart and two singles from the album, "Celui..." and "Toutes les nuits" topped the French Singles Chart in two consecutive weeks in February–March 2011. Chimène Badi
Chimène Badi (; born 30 October 1982 in Melun, Seine-et-Marne), also known by her mononym Chimène, is a French singer of Algerian descent. Early life Badi was born in Melun in the Paris suburbs to a family of Algerian origin. She spent her entire childhood in the south-west of France. She grew up in Villeneuve-sur-Lot with her parents, Chérifa and Mohammed, her sister, Déborah, and her brother, Karim. Chico & the Gypsies is a French musical formation of rumba catalana, flamenco and Latin pop and rock tunes led by Jahloul Chico Bouchikhi, who was one of the founders of the Gipsy Kings. After he left the Gipsy Kings due to differences with the band, Bouchikhi formed Chico and the Gypsies in 1992.
