Collarts
Australian College of the Arts Pty Ltd (Collarts) is an Australian independent tertiary education provider, with four campuses in Melbourne, Victoria. Originally operating as AusMusic, Collarts was founded in 1993 and offers undergraduate degrees to on-campus and online students. Collarts also works closely with a number of secondary schools to provide VET music programs, offering music programmes to school students. Upon successful completion of a VET program, students are awarded a nationally-accredited vocational training certificate. Collarts has four campuses across Melbourne, on Wellington Street and Cromwell Street in Collingwood, and George Street and Brunswick Street in Fitzroy. As of May 2021, there were 1200 students enrolled at Collarts, studying both online and on-campus. Collingwood, Victoria
Collingwood is an inner-city suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 3km north-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Yarra local government area. Collingwood recorded a population of 9,179 at the 2021 census. The area now known as Collingwood is thought to have been named Yálla-birr-ang by the Wurundjeri people, the original Indigenous inhabitants of the area. Following colonisation, the suburb was named in 1842 after Baron Collingwood or an early hotel which bore his name. Killing Heidi are an Australian rock band, formed in Violet Town, Victoria in 1996, initially as a folk-pop duo by siblings Ella and Jesse Hooper. Ella Keighery Hooper (born 30 January 1983) is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter, radio presenter and TV personality. Hooper is the lead singer of Killing Heidi. The band formed in 1996 (when Ella was 13) and also featured her older brother Jesse Hooper. Killing Heidi broke up in 2006. Dallas Frasca is an Australian roots rock band from Melbourne fronted by namesake front-woman, Dallas Frasca. The band's 2015 album, ''Love Army'' peaked at number 29 on the ARIA Charts.
