Colisée De Québec
Colisée de Québec (later known as Colisée Pepsi) is a defunct multi-purpose arena located in Quebec City, Quebec. It was the home of the Quebec Nordiques from 1972 to 1995, during their time in the World Hockey Association and National Hockey League. It was also the home of the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 1999 until its closing in 2015. The Colisée hosted the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament annually in February until its closing in 2015, with almost 2,300 young hockey players from 16 countries participating annually. History The barrel vault arena was originally built in 1949, seating 10,034, to replace a building on the same site that had burned down a year earlier. The Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH, ''"North American Hockey League"'') is a low-level professional ice hockey league based in the Canadian province of Quebec. Teams in the LNAH compete for the Vertdure Cup. Gérard Bolduc
Gérard Bolduc (August 3, 1906 – March 8, 1993) was a Canadian ice hockey administrator. He co-founded the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament in 1960, served as president of the tournament for 15 years, and sought to bring international youth teams to Quebec City to play. He was also involved with the Quebec Amateur Hockey Association and the Quebec Remparts, and was posthumously inducted into the Quebec Sports Hall of Fame. Early life Gérard Bolduc was born on August 3, 1906, in Montmagny, Quebec, to parents Joseph Bolduc and Diana St-Pierre. As a youth, he won medals competing in skiing and snowshoeing. Parc Victoria is a large urban park in Quebec City, Canada. It is located the Saint-Roch, Quebec City, Saint-Roch neighbourhood, on the south shore of the Saint-Charles River (Quebec City), Saint-Charles River and opened in 1897. Quebec Arena was an indoor ice hockey arena in Quebec City, Quebec. It was built in 1913 and was the home of the Quebec Bulldogs of the NHA and NHL until the team moved to Hamilton, Ontario in 1920. Guy Lafleur
Guy Damien Lafleur (September 20, 1951 – April 22, 2022), nicknamed "the Flower" and "Le Démon Blond", was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was the first player in National Hockey League (NHL) history to score 50 goals in six consecutive seasons as well as 50 goals and 100 points in six consecutive seasons. Between 1971 and 1991, Lafleur played right wing for the Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, and Quebec Nordiques in an NHL career spanning 17 seasons, and five Stanley Cup championships in 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, and 1979 (all with the Canadiens).
