Colin Thackery
Warrant Officer Class 2 Colin Thackery (born 9 March 1930) is a British Korean War veteran and singer who won the thirteenth series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' in June 2019. As the winner, he received £250,000 and performed at the 2019 Royal Variety Performance. At 89, he became the oldest ever winner of the talent show. Career Thackery served in the Royal Artillery of the Army, and saw service in Malaya and the Korean War. His medals represent this service, the General Service Medal with clasp ''Malaya''; the Korea Medal and the United Nations Korea Medal. In 2019, Thackery won Britain's Got Talent. At 89, he became the oldest ever winner of the talent show. He released an album, signing to Decca Records, alongside a tour across the UK. Decca Records is a British record label established in 1929 by Edward Lewis (Decca), Edward Lewis. Its U.S. label was established in late 1934 by Lewis, Jack Kapp, American Decca's first president, and Milton Rackmil, who later became American Decca's president. Jon Courtenay
Jon Courtenay (born 4 March 1973) is an English singer, pianist, entertainer and comedian, known for winning the Britain's Got Talent (series 14), fourteenth series of ''Britain's Got Talent'', having previously been awarded the golden buzzer during his audition by presenters Ant & Dec. He was the first ever Golden Buzzer act to win in the history of the show. During filming BGT in July 2020, a suspicious Nevus, mole on the left side of his head was found to be a melanoma. This wasn't talked about on the show so as not to become the narrative, and after treatment he was given the all-clear by the end of that year. It was then discovered that the cancer had spread to his neck which required major surgery and a course of treatment. This experience inspired a new show 'Against The Odds', a one-man comedy musical that he took to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022. He is from Mossley, Greater Manchester and has also lived in Suffolk. Lee Ridley (born 31 December 1980), better known by his stage name the Lost Voice Guy, is an English stand-up comedian. Disabled since early life, and unable to speak, he rose to prominence in June 2018 after winning the 12th series of ''Britain's Got Talent''. Early life Ridley is originally from Consett, County Durham.
