Colin Spaull
Colin J. Spaull (born 19 May 1944) is a British actor noted for his television work. Trained at what was then the Italia Conti School, now the Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, his credits include: ''Z-Cars'' (in which he played three characters between 1964 and 1969), ''Dixon of Dock Green'', '' Doctor Who'' (in the stories ''Revelation of the Daleks'', "Rise of the Cybermen" and "The Age of Steel"), ''Boon'', '' Goodnight Sweetheart'', ''Inspector Morse'', ''The Bill'' (in which he has played seven characters between 1985 and 2003), ''Casualty'' and '' Holby City''. He appeared in one episode of ''The Inbetweeners'' as Roy, Will's neighbour. ''Casualty'' (stylised as ''CASUAL+Y'') is a British medical drama series that airs weekly on BBC One. Created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin, it was first broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 6 September 1986. The original producer was Geraint Morris. The ''Jennings'' series is a collection of novels written by Anthony Buckeridge (1912–2004) as children's literature about the humorous escapades of J.C.T. Jennings, a schoolboy at Linbury Court preparatory school in England. There are 24 novels in the series, excluding reprints and other material. The first of the series, Jennings Goes to School, appeared in 1950, and new titles were published regularly until the mid-1970s (including ''Jennings at Large'', published in 1977, the only novel to feature Jennings during the school holidays). The two final volumes were published in the 1990s: ''Jennings Again'' in 1991, and ''That's Jennings'' in 1994. Noddy (character)
Noddy is an English character created by English children's author Enid Blyton. Noddy first appeared in a book series published between 1949 and 1963, illustrated by the Dutch artist Harmsen van der Beek from 1949 until his death in 1953, after which the work was continued by Peter Wienk. Television shows based on the character have run on British television since 1955. Noddy The first book explains Noddy's origins. He is made by a wood carving, woodcarver in a toy store but runs away after the man begins to make a wooden lion, which scares Noddy. ''Z-Cars'' or ''Z Cars'' (pronounced "zed cars") is a British television police procedural series centred on the work of mobile uniformed police in the fictional town of Newtown, based on Kirkby, near Liverpool. Produced by the BBC, it debuted in January 1962 and ran until September 1978. The series differed sharply from earlier police procedurals. With its less-usual Northern England setting, it injected a new element of harsh realism into the image of the police, which some found unwelcome.
