The pistol casebearer (''Coleophora multipulvella'') is a moth of the family Coleophoridae. It is found in North America, from Virginia to Kansas and northward to Canada. Moths are a paraphyletic group of insects that includes all members of the order Lepidoptera that are not butterflies, with moths making up the vast majority of the order.
