Coldworker Albums
Coldworker was a Swedish deathgrind band, formed in early 2006. The band signed a deal with Relapse Records in June 2006, and since then released three studio albums, the debut ''The Contaminated Void'', in November 2006, followed by ''Rotting Paradise'', in May 2008, and ''The Doomsayer's Call'' in February 2012. The band split up in July 2013. History Coldworker was formed in early 2006 by Nasum's former drummer Anders Jakobson, who recruited guitarist Anders Bertilsson (formerly of The Project Hate MCMXCIX) and bassist Oskar Pålsson. They began rehearsing and writing songs and in March 2006 were joined by guitarist André Alvinzi (also in Carnal Grief). In April 2006, they settled on the name Coldworker, and were joined by singer Joel Fornbrant. A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in. Starting in the 1940s polyvinyl chloride became common, hence the name vinyl. The phonograph record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century. It had co-existed with the phonograph cylinder from the late 1880s and had effectively superseded it by around 1912. Dan-Erland Swanö (born 10 March 1973), also known as Dan "The Man" Swanö, is a Swedish musician and record producer who is currently the vocalist, guitarist, ex-bassist and ex-drummer for the band Nightingale, lately vocalist, keyboardist and drummer for the band Witherscape, as well as the owner of Unisound, but he achieved fame as the vocalist and songwriter of progressive death metal band Edge of Sanity.
