Located in western Michigan, the river is a part of the Grand River drainage basin. The Coldwater River flows through Barry and Kent counties, and the drainage basin also includes a large portion of southwest Ionia County and a tiny portion of Sunfield Township in the northwest corner of Eaton County. The Coldwater is formed from the Little Thornapple River in Carlton Township in Barry County. Caledonia Charter Township is a charter township of Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 12,332 at the 2010 census, an increase from 8,964 at the 2000 census. Sebewa Township is a civil township of Ionia County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township population was 1,202 and decreased to 1,171 at the 2010 census. Communities * Sebewa (or Sebewa Corners) is an unincorporated community at straddling the boundary between Sebewa Township on the west and Danby Township on the east. On April 11, 1867, Pierce G. Lake Odessa is a village in Ionia County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,018 at the 2010 census. It is located in the southern portion of the county in Odessa Township on the northeast shore of Jordan Lake, which is the boundary with Barry County.
