Cold Creek County is a Canadian country rock group based in Brighton, Ontario. Its members are Doug Oliver, Josh Lester, Trevor MacLeod, Justin Lester, and Jordan Honsinger. They were founded in 2013 and signed to Sony Music Canada in 2014. History They toured with Dallas Smith, Emerson Drive, Kira Isabella and Jason Blaine. ''Cold Creek Manor'' is a 2003 American thriller film directed by Mike Figgis, and starring Dennis Quaid, Sharon Stone, Stephen Dorff, Juliette Lewis, Kristen Stewart and Christopher Plummer. Cold Creek (Russian River Tributary)
Cold Creek is a river of Mendocino County, California, a tributary of East Fork Russian River. In the past it may have connected Clear Lake to the Russian River before this route was blocked by a large landslide and Clear Lake began to drain into the Sacramento River watershed. Location Cold Creek is long. It is a left tributary of East Fork Russian River. The Ukiah Valley extends up the Russian River to the junction of the east fork with the main stream. Above this along the east fork to the confluence of Cold Creek it is known as Coyote Valley (''cō'dakai''). Above Cold Creek to the head of the east fork it is called Potter Valley (''djūhū'la-kai''). A 1914 survey of the Ukiah Area said the Cold Creek Valley was small and not very important agriculturally. Cold Creek is an unincorporated community in Clark County, Nevada, United States located within the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area and approximately 28 miles by road from the Las Vegas city limits. Cold Creek is named for the stream that flows through the community. Cold Creek is a popular community for residents of Las Vegas and nearby locations to purchase second homes, away from large cities. The community's isolated location provides little light pollution coming from Las Vegas at night. Cold Creek has a homeowners association. History In the 1930s, Cold Creek served as a dude ranch called Cold Creek Ranch. Stacy Irvin, curator of education at the Nevada State Museum, says, “Dude ranches were popular after the law for quickie divorces was passed in Nevada. Cold Creek Conservation Area
Cold Creek Conservation Area, usually Cold Creek, is an ecologically diverse protected Area of Natural and Scientific Interest in south-central Ontario, Canada. The conservation area was opened on 20 June 1962 by Wilf Spooner and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. It is located on the western end of King Township, overlapping the Oak Ridges Moraine. The Government of Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources classifies the area as a provincially significant ''Area of Natural and Scientific Interest'' (Life Science) for its "''provincially or regionally significant representative ecological features''". The area was also a site classified for the International Biological Program. The Life Science area, known as ''Cold Creek Swamp'', is composed of a swamp and forest.
