Col De La Loze
The Col de la Loze is a mountain pass in the French Alps, with an elevation of . A path up the mountain was opened in May 2019, and is the seventh-highest mountain pass in France. The ascent featured in the 2020 Tour de France, as well as in the 2019 Tour de l'Avenir. Geography Col de la Loze is in Les Trois Vallées, at an elevation of . From Col de la Loze, one can ski to the nearby La Tania, and Le Praz. By chairlift, one can get from Col de la Loze to Courchevel and Méribel, and by button lift, one can get to La Tania. From Col de la Loze, one can also cycle to . A path up the Col de la Loze was built in 2018 and was officially opened on 12 May 2019. 2020 Tour De France, Stage 12 To Stage 21
The 2020 Tour de France is the 107th edition of Tour de France, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The Tour began in Nice with a hilly stage on 29 August, and Stage 12 occurred on 10 September with a hilly stage from Chauvigny. The race finished on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on 20 September. Col Du Grand Colombier
Col du Grand Colombier (el. ) is a mountain pass in the Jura mountains in France. This pass lies at the southern extremity of the Jura in the massif of the Grand Colombier. With the Col du Chasseral, it is the highest road pass in the Jura. It passes between the Grand Colombier (el. ) and the Croix du Colombier (), which is accessible by trail from the pass. The view from the summit is superb, either down the valley of the Rhône, the Lac du Bourget and the gorges of Val-de-Fier, or the distant peaks of the Alps. Brides-les-Bains () is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It was an Olympic Village for the 1992 Winter Olympics, based in Albertville, France. There is easy accessibility via Eurostar direct from London and there is a cable-car link direct to the ski slopes at Méribel, a major resort away. Grade (slope)
The grade (also called slope, incline, gradient, mainfall, pitch or rise) of a physical feature, landform or constructed line refers to the tangent of the angle of that surface to the horizontal. It is a special case of the slope, where zero indicates horizontality. A larger number indicates higher or steeper degree of "tilt". Col de la Madeleine (el. 1,993 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Alps in the department of Savoie in France which connects La Chambre in Maurienne with La Léchère in Tarentaise. The pass is closed from November to the beginning of June. It has been described as "beautiful, but heartbreaking".
