Coen Teulings
Coenraad Nicolaas (Coen) Teulings (born 13 December 1958) is a Dutch economist and distinguished professor at Utrecht University. He was formerly professor of Economics at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Cambridge and former Director of the Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. Biography Born in Rijswijk, Coen Teulings was the grandson of Frans Teulings, Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands 1951-52. Center For Economic Studies
The Center for Economic Studies (CES) is an independent institute within the Faculty of Economics of the University of Munich (LMU). It promotes the international exchange of knowledge and ideas in public finance and other areas of economics. CES invites visiting scholars to conduct their research in Munich, Germany, and to give short a lecture series in return. Since its founding in 1991, over 670 academics have visited CES, establishing the basis for the CESifo Research Network. The work of CES is supported and supervised by an advisory council of fourteen international experts. In 1994 CES also became the co-publisher of '' Economic Policy'', Europe's leading academic journal in this field. William Arthur Brown
William Arthur Brown, CBE (22 April 1945 – 1 August 2019), also known as Willie Brown, was an academic specialising in the field of industrial relations, who served as Master of Darwin College, Cambridge. Education and academic career Brown was born in Leeds, where his father Arthur Joseph Brown, CBE, FBA (1914–2003) was Professor of Economics (1947–1979) and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (1975–1977) at the University of Leeds . After attending Leeds Grammar School and graduating from Wadham College, Oxford, Brown worked at the National Board for Prices and Incomes as an economic assistant. From there he went to the new University of Warwick, moving to the Economic and Social Research Council's Industrial Relations Research Unit when it was established at Warwick in 1970.
