Thomas Carr (director)
Thomas Howard Carr (July 4, 1907 - April 23, 1997) was an American actor and film director of Hollywood movies and television programs. Often billed as "Tommy Carr", he later adopted his more formal "Thomas Carr" birth name as his billing name. Biography Carr was born into an acting family on July 4, 1907 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father was the actor William Carr and his mother was the actress Mary Carr. Thomas Carr followed the family profession, and in 1915 began acting in silent films. From 1915 through 1953, Carr played small supporting roles in a number of low budget Hollywood films. However, Carr's star as an actor did not rise. In 1945, he turned to directing, and from 1945 through 1951 Carr directed numerous B movies for Hollywood's poverty row. Ted Adams (actor)
Richard Theodore Adams (March 17, 1890 – September 24, 1973) was an American film actor who appeared in nearly 200 films between 1926 and 1952. Early life Adams was born in New York City. He appeared with his parents in their vaudeville act and later attended Cornell University. He served in World War I and World War II in the US Navy. Career Adams' film career spanned more than three decades and included roles "on both sides of the law". He worked primarily in B-Westerns, often as a villain. Studios for which he worked included Monogram and PRC, and he was often seen in films that starred Johnny Mack Brown or Bob Steele. Leonard Miles "Bud" Osborne (July 20, 1884 – February 2, 1964) was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 600 films and television programs between 1912 and 1963. Biography Osborne was born Miles Osborne in Knox County, Texas, on February 20, 1884. Osborne attended Oklahoma City schools and was a rancher in Oklahoma's Indian Territory before he became an entertainer. After working with the 101 Ranch Show for five years, he worked with Buffalo Bill's Wild West show for one year in 1912. He became a member of Thomas H. Ince's film company in 1915. Osborne specialized in westerns, and was also noted for his skill as a stage driver, and was thus much in demand from his first film in 1912 right through the early 1950s. Barney Sarecky
Barney Sarecky (May 7, 1895 – August 10, 1968) was an American film producer and screenwriter, from the late 1930s into the 1950s. The younger brother of producer/screenwriter Louis Sarecky, he had a much more prolific career, writing or producing almost 75 films. Beginning as an associate producer, he would continue in that role until late in his career, when he would move up into the producer role, beginning with 1947's ''Trailing Danger''. In the early 1950s he would move from the big screen to the smaller screen, working as the associate producer on the highly successful television series, '' Adventures of Superman''. Leona Elaine Winona DaVinna (April 17, 1920 – November 17, 2020), known professionally as Kay Morley, was an American actress who worked in Hollywood in the 1940s and 1950s. She was primarily known for her work in B movies. Morley died on November 17, 2020, at her home in Palm Springs, California, aged 100. Biography Leona Elaine Winona DaVinna was born on April 17, 1920, in Pocatello, Idaho, and she spent her childhood on a Native American reservation where her father was superintendent. She later recounted that she was visiting a friend in Hollywood when she was spotted by an agent at a soda counter. Morley got her start in Hollywood as a Goldwyn glamour girl.
