Cochylis Nana
''Cochylis nana'' is a moth of the family Tortricidae. It was described by Adrian Hardy Haworth in 1811. It is found in Europe, Amur Oblast of Russia and Nova Scotia in Canada. The wingspan is .The head is white. The forewing costa is gently arched. The ground colour is white. The basal area and costa are strigulated with blackish. There is a broad direct median fascia of blackish irroration and strigulae, dilated dorsally, the posterior edge sinuate. The apical area is clouded with pale ochreous, with a suffused spot of blackish irroration on costa before the apex, sometimes indistinctly connected with the tornus. Adrian Hardy Haworth
Adrian is a form of the Latin given name Adrianus or Hadrianus. Its ultimate origin is most likely via the former river Adria from the Venetic and Illyrian word ''adur'', meaning "sea" or "water". The Adria was until the 8th century BC the main channel of the Po River into the Adriatic Sea but ceased to exist before the 1st century BC. Tortricidae
The Tortricidae are a family of moths, commonly known as tortrix moths or leafroller moths, in the order Lepidoptera. This large family has over 11,000 species described, and is the sole member of the superfamily Tortricoidea, although the genus ''Heliocosma'' is sometimes placed within this superfamily. Many of these are economically important pests. Olethreutidae is a junior synonym. The typical resting posture is with the wings folded back, producing a rather rounded profile.
